Traditional Malay Medicine

Perubatan Melayu Tradisional brings together a family of inherited practices of the Malay world, including therapeutic massage (urut), manual realignment (pembetulan tulang), herbal preparations (ubat), post-natal care (berpantang) and acupressure-based traditions. Knowledge has been passed down within families and communities for generations.

As a Malaysia-based network, this is a tradition close to our own base. We document it respectfully, and facilitate access to independent practitioners who describe their work clearly and honestly, including its complementary nature.
